Explosion in Moscow Trapped More People Under Debris
An explosion destroyed part of a five-storey apartment building in the northeastern part of Moscow on Tuesday night, and rescuers have pulled out eight people from under the debris, the Itar-tass reported.

The agency said that among the eight people, four were injured,including a heavily burned woman. More people are believed trappedunder the debris.
The central part of the house block collapsed after the blast happening just after 23:00 Moscow time (1900 GMT).
Russia's ORT television showed rescuers are removing wreckage or helping residents out of the house. Most of the people waiting outside the building seemed calm.
Interfax agency quoted government sources as saying the blast was caused by a gas explosion.
