US Helicopter Crash-Lands in Afghanistan

A U.S. Apache helicopter crash-landed while conducting a mission near the Afghan capital, the U.S. military announced.
The cause of Tuesday's accident was unknown, but it was not the result of hostile fire, according to a statement released in
Afghanistan
from MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla. Both crew members were flown to Bagram air base, the U.S. military headquarters, and were treated for minor injuries, the statement said.
Coalition forces secured the crash site, about 20 miles south of Kabul, and were investigating the accident, the statement said.
Also Tuesday, six airmen suffered minor injuries when their Air Force HH60 medivac helicopter crashed.
