Israeli, Palestinian Senior Officials to Resume Talks

Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres and Minister without Portfolio Dan Naveh are expected to meet with Palestinian senior officials on Wednesday, Israel Radio reported on Tuesday.

Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres and Minister without Portfolio Dan Naveh are expected to meet with Palestinian senior officials on Wednesday, Israel Radio reported on Tuesday.

The talks would focus on the transfer of funds to the Palestinians and continued easing of conditions for the Palestinian civilians, the report report.

The report also said Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon praised Palestinian National Authority Finance Minister Salem Fayed for his efforts to promote internal reform and improve Palestinian economy.
