China Names Four Players for Asian Games Golf Competition

China on Saturday named four male players for the golf competition at this year's Asian Games, which will be held from September 29 to October 14 inPusan, South Korea.

China on Saturday named four male players for the golf competition at this year's Asian Games, which will be held from September 29 to October 14 inPusan, South Korea.

Liu Qiang, Wu Kangchun, Yuan Hao and Liao Guiming were selectedfrom 12 top Chinese golfers into the national team after a 50-day training and selection in the capital city of Guangdong Province.

The national team will take part in a string of warm-up competitions before the Pusan Asiad.

China will only attend the men's golf team event, abandoning the singles' and women's team events.
