Chinese Wins Women's Pole Vault at Asian Championship

Gao Shuying of China won the women's pole vault title at the 14th Asian Athletics Championship Saturday in Colombo.

Gao Shuying of China won the women's pole vault title at the 14th Asian Athletics Championship Saturday in Colombo.

Gao Shuying cleared 4.20 meters to take the gold, beating Masumi Ono to the second place who also cleared the same height.

Margawati Ni Putu Desy finished third with 4.10 meters.
