Four Killed in Bomb Blast in Pakistan's Hospital
At least four people were killed and many others were injured in an apparent suicide bomb attack ina Christian hospital in Taxila some 40 kilometers northwest of the Pakistani capital of Islamabad.
At least four people were killed and many others were injured in an apparent suicide bomb attack ina Christian hospital in Taxila some 40 kilometers northwest of the Pakistani capital of Islamabad.
A police officer at the hospital said that three terrorists entered the hospital at 07:45 a.m. (0145 GMT) and threw a hand grenade on Christian nurses, killing three of them.
The local police said that one of the attackers was also killed.No one has claimed responsibility for the attack. The police are investigating in the incident.
This is the third attack against Christians in Pakistan in lessthan a year. Five people were killed in armed men's attack on a Christian school in Murree, northeast of Islamabad four days ago.
Five people, including the wife and daughter of a US diplomat, were killed in a hand grenade attack in a Christian Church in Islamabad's diplomatic enclave in March this year.
At least 18 people were killed when armed men opened fire at Christian worshippers in the city of Bahawalpur in Punjab provincein last October.
