List of Chinese Table Tennis Players for Pusan Asiad Drafted

China has has announced a draft list of seven male and seven female players for the table tennis competitions at this year's Asian Games, which will be held from September 29 to October 14 in Pusan, South Korean.

The men's team comprises Kong Linghui, Wang Liqin, Ma Lin, Liu Guozheng and Yan Sen, with Qin Zhijian and Wang Hao as substitues.

The women's side groups Wang Nan, Zhang Yining, Zhu Jianfeng, Li Nan and Guo Yan while Jiang Huajun and Li Jia are listed as substitutes.

When announcing the line-up on Wednesday, the national team's head coach Cai Zhenhua said the final list would be fixed and announced on August 15.

Cai also disclosed that Liu Guoliang, former world champion and Olympic gold medalist, will begin later this month his commitment as a coach of the national team. Liang would take the post after competing in the International Table Tennis Federation All-Stars meeting set for August 14 in central Chinese city of Wuhan.

Liu will not, therefore, be included in the Chinese team for the Pusan Games, he added.
