Bangladesh-US Amphibious Exercise Continues
A combined group of Bangladesh Armed Forces and the US Army Special Force Wednesday participated in an amphibious beach landing maneuver in the sandy coasts of the southeastern Cox's Bazar of the Bay of Bengal.

Officers and soldiers from the First Para-Commando Battalion ofBangladesh Army, Navy and Air Force and the Operation Detachment Team Alpha of the US Army Special Force took part in the amphibious mission under the ongoing "Balance Buffalo" exercise, according to the official Bangladesh News Agency.
Bangladesh Navy ships BNS Omar Farooq and BNS Abu Bakar served as mother vessels for the commandos who made "perfect landing" in the coast using their diving gears and underwater equipment.
Bangladesh Air Force helicopters took part in the exercise as part of the search and rescue team.
The Bangladesh-US joint "Balance Buffalo" exercise started on July 13 and continues till August 15.
Two groups of the US Army Special Force came here from Washington and Okinawa (Japan) base.
