US Helicopter Crashes in South Korea
A US attack helicopter crashed at 9:30 p.m. (local time), Thursday night in a rural area east of the town of Unch'on, about 40 km northeast of Seoul, said a news release of United States Forces Korea (USFK) issued on Friday.

The AH-64D, Apache Lonbow helicopter, assigned to 2nd Infantry Division, was on a routine training flight when it crashed, said the release.
Neither the pilot nor co-pilot was injured. And there were no reports of injuries or damage on the ground.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, noted the release.
