China Issues Statute on Military Logistics

Jiang Zemin, chairman of China's Central Military Commission, recently signed an order to implement a statute on the logistics of the People's Liberation Army (PLA).

Jiang Zemin, chairman of China's Central Military Commission, recently signed an order to implement a statute on the logistics of the People's Liberation Army (PLA).

The statute requires that military logistics should improve inboth quality and efficiency to meet the requirements of the military strategies in the new era.

Logistics departments should always keep related equipment in sound order and be ready for any kind of military mission, training and other operations, the statute says.
