The leader and the founder of the group Sheikh Salah Shehada waskilled together with 14 civilians in an Israeli army F-16 warplane airstrike on a civilian building on Monday in eastern Gaza City. About 150 other people were wounded.

Hamas said it was calling upon all its militants in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and in Israel to be ready for receiving orders to retaliate the murder of Shehada, his family members and other children.
"Nothing is called forbidden or taboo in this war until our martyrs and their families rest and get satisfied by carrying out violent and painful actions," said the leaflet.
Meanwhile, Palestinian residents and medical crews managed to get out the bodies of the 15 Palestinians that were killed in the airstrike from under the rubbles.
As a first reaction to the airstrike, Palestinian militants, member of the group fired "Qassam" or mortar shells at Jewish settlements in the Gaza Strip. No injuries were reported according to reports.
"The students of Salah Shehada rained the settlements in northern Gaza Strip with 11 "Al Qassam" rockets in revenge for the blood of the martyrs," said the leaflet distributed in Gaza on Wednesday.
The leaflet said that firing the mortars "is the beginning of revenge and these attacks are few drops of the blood that the Zionists would drink for their condemned crime."
