China Announces 25-member Asiad Soccer Team

China's football association announced a 25-member Asiad team which will begin a new training camp at Shanghai on August 5.

China's football association announced a 25-member Asiad team which will begin a new training camp at Shanghai on August 5.

The team, headed by Shen Xiangfu, who was an assistant to Boro Milutinovic at China's national team, includes Du Wei, An Qi and Qu Bo, members of the Chinese national team which took part in the 2002 World Cup finals.

The second and final training camp will be held in Sichuan province in September. After that, the roster will be trimmed to 20 players.

Following are the 25-player roster as announced by the football association:

Shanghai Shenghua: Du Wei, Yu Tao, Sun Jie, Sun Xiong

Liaoning Baodao: Xu Liang, Wang Xinxing

Dalian Shide: Yan Song, Hu Zhaojun, Wang Sheng, An Qi, Zhang Yaokun

Qindao Yizhong: Gao Ming, Yang Jun, Qu Bo, Sui Yong

Beijing Guo'an: Lu Jiang

Shenyang Jinde: Ma Liang

Tianjin Taida: Zong Lei, Cao Yang

Chongqin Lifan: Zhou Lin

Liaoning Xingguang: Wang Bin

Henan Jianye: Lu Feng

Guangdong: Wu Weian, Wu Pingfeng

Dalian Saidelong: Yang Lin
