Chinese Trade Minister Meets Ethiopian Counterpart

Economic and trade exchanges between China and Ethiopia have become increasingly frequent, and bilateral trade keeps growing all the time, said Chinese Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC) Shi Guangsheng in Beijing on Monday.

Economic and trade exchanges between China and Ethiopia have become increasingly frequent, and bilateral trade keeps growing all the time, said Chinese Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (MOFTEC) Shi Guangsheng in Beijing on Monday.

In a meeting with Ethiopian Minister of Trade and Industry Girma Biru and his delegation, Shi said China was willing to promote economic cooperation and trade with Ethiopia in all fields,Shi said.

Biru said the delegation came to China to study its textile andgarment industry. From on-the-spot investigations, the delegation would gain much of value to the Ethiopian economy, he said.

The delegation arrived in China on Sunday at the invitation of MOFTEC.
