Wang Zhizhi to Play for Warriors in NBA Summer League

Chinese basketball player Wang Zhizhi will join the LA. summer league matches which will begin on Monday (local time), as a member of the Golden State Warriors.

Chinese basketball player Wang Zhizhi will join the LA. summer league matches which will begin on Monday (local time), as a member of the Golden State Warriors.

According to head coach of the Dallas Mavericks, Wang Zhizhi will not be permitted to play in the summer league matches as a member of Mavericks for Wang refused to join the training of the Chinese national team. The head coach showed his nonsupport to Wang's behavior for it disobeyed Mavericks's promise to Chinese national team on Wang's returning.

But Mavericks is going to and has the priority to extend contract with Wang Zhizhi with a higher salary than other teams, Mavericks boss ever said. According to relevant rules of NBA, Wang Zhizhi can make an annual wage of US$4.5mn at most in the new contest season.
