Chinese leaders learn more about climate changes

Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji and other senior leaders were briefed on climate changes Friday here.

Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji and other senior leaders were briefed on climate changes Friday here.

At the invitation of the State Leading Group for Science and Technology and Education, Professor Ding Yihui gave a detailed presentation on the history of global climate changes, the currentsituation and possible future changes.

Ding also made an analysis of the influences of global climate changes, and put forward his suggestions on China's future research priorities and policy making.

Vice-premiers Li Lanqing, Qian Qichen, Wu Bangguo and Wen Jiabao also attended the lecture.
