Typhoon Ramasun to Hit China
Typhoon Ramasun this year is edging toward the east China coast and is expected to hit the provinces of Taiwan, Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangsu Wednesday night and Thursday, according to an emergency warning from China's Central Meteorological Station Wednesday afternoon.

At 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, the center of the typhoon was around 400 kilometers east of Taiwan province (24.2 degrees north latitude and 125.7 degrees east longitude).
It was forecast to move north or northwest at 20 kilometers per hour causing gales in the coastal areas of Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu.
