State Councilor Leaves for World Expo Bidding Presentation

Chinese State Councilor Wu Yi left Beijing for Paris Sunday morning to boost China's bidding effort for the host of the 2010 World Expo in the city of Shanghai.

Chinese State Councilor Wu Yi left Beijing for Paris Sunday morning to boost China's bidding effort for the host of the 2010 World Expo in the city of Shanghai.

Wu will make a presentation of Shanghai's preparatory work at the 131 plenary session of the International Expositions Bureau, which will make final decision this year.

After the session, Wu will officially visit Czech, Poland, Albania and Bulgaria during July 4-19 at the invitation of the four countries' governments.
