FIFA President Sepp Blatter Friday announced the schedule for four major international soccer events next year.
Following a FIFA Executive Committee in Yokohama, Blatter told reporters that the Confederations Cup held every odd year will take place from June 18 to 29.
Blatter said that champions of each continent, namely France, Columbia, the United States, Cameroon, Japan and a country from Oceania, along with the winners of this year's World Cup and the host nation will take part in the tournament.
"Plans for the Confederations Cup have been set until 2006, with the 2005 gams being awarded to Germany," he said.
Blatter also said that the FIFA World Youth Championships will be held in the United Arab Emirates (March 25-April 16), the FIFA Under 17 World Championships in Finland (August 13-30) and the Women's World Cup in China (September 24-October 11).
