Chinese Divers Win Golds at FINA Diving World Cup
Chinese divers Xu Xiang and Lao Lishi claimed two gold medals as the FINA Diving World Cup opened in Seville, Spain on Tuesday.

Chinese divers Xu Xiang and Lao Lishi claimed two gold medals as the FINA Diving World Cup opened in Seville,
Spain
on Tuesday.
Xu won the men's one-meter springboard with 421.80 points, wellahead of Alexandre Despatie of
Canada
in 407.79 and Jose Miguel Gil from Spain in 379.47.
Lao scored 377.88 points to take the women's 10m platform titlewhile her teammate Li Ting, 15, came out third in 323.55. Kimilo Soldati of the
United States
snatched the silver with 336.54.
The gold medals for men's 3m springboard and women's 1m springboard will be at stake on Wednesday.
More than 300 athletes from 29 countries and regions are competing in the five-day event, a record in FINA history. A total of 12 gold medals are to be decided for individual and team events.
