Fortune Selects Most Favored Foreign Firms in China
The Chinese version of Fortune lately revealed an investigation result for "The Most Favored Foreign Companies in China" for the third time lately, Shanghai Volkswagen tops No.1, Motorola (Tianjin) and Haier Air Conditioning come the second and third, respectively.
The Chinese version of Fortune lately revealed an investigation result for "The Most Favored Foreign Companies in China" for the third time lately, Shanghai Volkswagen tops No.1, Motorola (Tianjin) and Haier Air Conditioning come the second and third, respectively.
Detailed result will be issued on the magazine's Chinese version in June.
The candidates were selected from among 300 foreign-funded firms in China, with sales volume the highest.
Respondents of the investigation were chosen randomly from readers of the Chinese version of the Fortune who come from different cities and different jobs, most of them are senior management staffs.
A total of ten indexes are listed for appraisal. They are enterprise composite index, business capability, product and service quality, creation spirit, market adaptability, ability of attracting talents, commitments to market, after-sale service, social responsibility and technology transfer.
The top ten firms in term of composite index are: Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Company, Motorola (Tianjin) Electronics Ltd, Haier Air Conditioning Company, Coca-Cola (China), Shanghai GM, P&G (Guangzhou), Kodak (China), China FAW Group, Guangzhou Honda, Hangzhou Wahaha Food Co.
