Leaders of Rwanda, Kenya, Ethiopia Talks on the NEPAD

Rwandan President Kagame held talks in Rome with President Daniel Arap Moi of Kenya and Prime Minister Meles Zenawi of Ethiopia, which were focused on the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD), Rwanda news agency reported on Wednesday.

Rwandan President Kagame held talks in Rome with President Daniel Arap Moi of Kenya and Prime Minister Meles Zenawi of Ethiopia, which were focused on the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD), Rwanda news agency reported on Wednesday.

They renewed their government's commitment to the development vision of NEPAD, and on the need to establish peace, security and good governance as prerequisites to economic development.

Besides, they also discussed such issues as bilateral and regional interest.

President Kagame, President Moi and Prime Minister Meles are inRome to attend the World Food Summit which was convened by the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations.
