China, ROK Embassy in Contact over Unidentified Intruders
China is maintaining contact with the Republic of Korea (ROK) Embassy in Beijing over the issue of several unidentified embassy intruders, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said Tuesday.
China is maintaining contact with the Republic of Korea (ROK) Embassy in Beijing over the issue of several unidentified embassy intruders, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said Tuesday.
When asked for details about the issue at a regular press conference, Spokesman Liu Jianchao said that China will continue to deal with such problems in accordance with relevant international and domestic laws and in a humanitarian spirit.
According to the spokesman, the Canadian Embassy in Beijing has also informed China on two intruders at its embassy.
According to Liu, some of the ROK Embassy intruders were posing as visa applicants.

Political Relation: Rapid progress has been made in various fields on friendly relations and cooperation between the People��s Republic of China and the Republic of Korea since the two countries established diplomatic relations on 24 August 1992.
