It might be the last time for Li Weifeng playing against Brazil at the World Cup final round, but the Chinese center defender said his dream had come true.

"I remembered when I was nine years old at a summer football camp at Qinhuangdao (a seaside city to the west of Beijing). I rampart four numbers '2002' with sands on the beach. I told mum that I wanted to play at the 2002 World Cup when she took a picture for me," Li said.

Li, 24, is now a permanent starter at the center back along with veteran Fan Zhiyi.

He was a member of the Jianlibao Youth Team who receiving training in Brazil for two years.

"It was the most important time of my football career when I was in Brazil. What I learned there was more than what I got from my five-year spell at the domestic league in China," he added.

"I should say thanks to Bora (Milutinovic). He taught me a lot."

"I think I'm lucky to be one of the squad playing against Brazil at the World Cup. It will be the best memory of my career,"he said.
