China's head coach Bora Milutinovic said Saturday that despite the heavy loss to Brazil, he was happy about the way his team played during the Group C game.

"I'm very happy how we played. The players were very disciplined and I'm happy how they played tactically." said Milutinovic.

"I'm disappointed that we lost, but I'm very happy how we played against Brazil."he added.

Milutinovic said China's performance in the Brazil clash was better than their opening game against Costa Rica on Tuesday.

"I am happier with today's match with Brazil, because of the way we played. Normally we should have scored a goal. With Costa Rica we made mistakes, but the players have learned so much." Said the 58-year-old Yugoslav.

China could have scored their first goal in a World Cup finals but Zhao Junzhe's shot was denied by the post in the second half.
