Denmark are lucky to earn a 1-1 draw with combative Senegal in their group A match at the World Cup Thursday in Taegu.
Jon Dahl Tomasson's 15th minute goal through penalty gave Denmark a 1-0 lead over Senegal at halftime.
Forward Tomasson was pushed down in Senegal's penalty area in the 14th minute when he was clear to fire a shot, which awarded Denmark the penalty kick.
Senegal's equalizer came after a brilliant teamwork in the 52thwhen Senegal's midfielder Salif Diao dashed into the Danes' penalty area and shot home the pass from behind.
