Robbie Keane slashed home in the last minute to earn Ireland's 1-1 tie with Germany in World Cup Group E on Wednesday.

With Germany leading for 76 minutes and headed for a second round berth, Keane charged into the penalty area to beat German keeper Oliver Khan.

Miroslava Klose, who scored a hat-trick in Germany's 8-0 thrashing of Saudi Arabia last Saturday, struck his fourth goal in this tournament with a strong header at the 19th minute.
