Turkish and Brazilian Fans Clash in Berlin

Clashes broke out Monday between about 400 Turkish fans and 60 Brazilian supporters at a screening in Berlin of the World Cup match between the two countries in South Korea, according to Germany's major press agency Deutsche Presse-Agentur (DPA).

Clashes broke out Monday between about 400 Turkish fans and 60 Brazilian supporters at a screening in Berlin of the World Cup match between the two countries in South Korea, according to Germany's major press agency Deutsche Presse-Agentur (DPA).

Police said one person was injured and a man arrested after fighting broke out among supporters watching the match on a giant screen at the Sony Center at Potsdamer Platz.

Brazil beat Turkey 2-1 in Ulsan with a late and controversial penalty while two Turkish players were sent off.
