German national soccer team coach Ruid Voeller spoke highly of his forward Miroslav Klose who made a hat-trick in his side's stunning 8-0 win over Saudi Arabia in the World Cup group E match on Saturday evening.
"It is definitely difficult to single out any individual players after this game, but let me mention just one and that is Miroslav Klose, who scored three and set up another," said Voeller after the brilliant victory.
"This is a fantastic start. It was a great thing to win that big, and I liked not only the number (of goals scored), but the manner in which we played, " he said.
"Now we have to stay with our feet firmly planted on the carpet, even though we know that the opponent was not that strong today and we have to go on preparing well for the next game, " he added.
Lady luck, the injury-plagued and starless three-time champions have been drawn in the group E of the Korea-Japan 2002 World Cup finals, alongside Saudi Arabia, Cameroon and Ireland.
