The location of the black boxes of the crashed China Airlines (CAL) plane has been pinpointed Wednesday, according to news from Taiwan.
It was reported that the site of the black boxes was at longitude 119'40, north latitude 23'58", some 20 nautical miles north of Mutoyu, an islet of the Penghu islands in the Taiwan Strait.
At the same site, the search and rescue teams also found a hugewreckage of 40 meters by 10 meters by 6.0 meters.
It was also reported that the time when divers would be sent toretrieve the black boxes depends on the weather conditions.
The Boeing 747-200 with 225 people on board broke up mid-flighton Saturday about 20 minutes after taking off from Taipei on a flight to Hong Kong.
No survivors have been found and so far some 90 bodies have been retrieved from the sea.
