Pakistan Test Fires Third Missile

Pakistan on Tuesday carried out asuccessful test fire of its indigenously developed short range surface to surface missile Haft-II (ABDALI), a press release from the Inter Services Public Relations Directorate said.

Pakistan on Tuesday carried out asuccessful test fire of its indigenously developed short range surface to surface missile Haft-II (ABDALI), a press release from the Inter Services Public Relations Directorate said.

It said this was the first test of the ABDALI missile, the third missile test in a couple of days amid growing tension with neighoring India, and this system is capable of carrying warheads accurately up to a range of 180 kilometers.

It added that the flight data collected confirmed its accuracy and all other design parameters were successfully validated.

The successful test fire of ABDALI concludes from now a series of tests conducted over the last few days.
