A digital cinema, with a cost of 800m yuan by a Belgian company, will be put into use in two years, said Zhao Yong, director of Fu Wah International (Hong Kong), at the ceremony for promoting business and signing agreements of Wang Fujing---the international renowned business district--- seminar.

The cinema is located on the Jing Bao Avenue of Wangfujing business center, covering an area of 60,000 to 80,000 square meters. Audiences in Beijing are able to enjoy all famous movies with those in other countries simultaneously since the movies will be on screen by satellite transmission instead of projection.

It has a seating capacity of 11,000 with 25 halls, in which the biggest one covers 800 square meters. It's said the cinema will be most advanced in the world. Audiences may wonder if its ticket price will be too high to afford? Zhao Yong told reporters the price will be at a level of average cinema tickets.

According to sources, the cinema's ceremony of signing an agreement on investment and cooperation will be held tomorrow. The other 7 investment projects signed agreements on the said seminar include those of "Beijing Fuhao Hongshi Business Center", "New Century Cinema Center in the Oriental Plaza" and others.
