Milutinovic: No Big Injury Problems for Chinese Team

China's head coach Bora Milutinovic said Sunday that there were no big injury problems for the Chinese team which will make its World Cup debut against Costa Rica on June 6.

China's head coach Bora Milutinovic said Sunday that there were no big injury problems for the Chinese team which will make its World Cup debut against Costa Rica on June 6.

Milutinovic said three Chinese players, includeing veteran defender Fan Zhiyi, sustained injuries in a series of warmup games: "But nobody is seriously injured and they will all be ready for Costa Rica."

Milutinovic said Fan Zhiyi had injured his left calf during a match against Uruguay last week. Midfielder Qi Hong and striker Hao Haidong are also on the sick list.
