China's World Cup squad, who will make their first-ever appearance in the premier soccer tournament in 44 years, arrived at their training camp in Seogwipo, South Korea, on Sunday.

The Chinese debutantes were extended warm welcome by officials from South Korean World Cup organizing committee and more than 500 Chinese students studying in the country, local fans and Chinese and foreign reporters at the airport.
China's "miracle" head coach Bora Milutinovic and captain Ma Mingyu, who walked out of the airport firstly, received the garlands presented by the organizing committee.
The Chinese players looked a little tired after a long flight from Macao, where they lost to Portugal, one of the favorites to win this summer's World Cup, 0-2 in their last warm-up game on Saturday evening.
The Chinese team will stay in Seogwipo until their first group match against Costa Rica in Gwangju, South Korea, on June 4. China will also meet their Group C rivals Brazil in Seogwipo on June 8 and Turkey in Seoul on June 13.
The Korea-Japan 2002 World Cup finals will run from May 31 to June 30.
