Portugal Beat China 2-0 in Last Warmup Game
Portugal beat China 2-0 on two secondhalf goals in their last World Cup game here on Saturday.

Nuno Gomes cashed in on a silly mistake by Chinese substitute goalkeeper An Qi to push the ball to the open net at the 50th minute, and Pauleta made Portugal two up 11 minutes later.

Portugal should have led earlier as Chinese goalkeeper Jiang Jin blocked Ruis Costa's penalty kick at the 25th minute.

China saw their best chance foiled by Portuguese goalie Victor Baia at the 33rd minute as the 33-year-old veteran palmed out Wu Chengying's volley and tipped Du Wei's close-range blast over the bar.

China benched key defender Fan Zhiyi, who was injured in the game against Uruguay.

Ruis Figo, FIFA Footballer of the Year, replaced Costa at the 76th minute.
