Jiang stressed to do a good job of it is the duty of CPC committees and governments at all levels and the obligation of thewhole society.

He pointed out that demobilized officers are valuable human resources and key building blocks in China's modernization drive. They should be well accepted, allocated, trained and managed aftertransferred to civilian work so they can do their best in different jobs.

A total of 38,000 officers of the military and armed police areexpected to be demobilized this year.
