Pak Mission Reaffirms for Peace Talks With India
After the explanation of Indian stand on the escalation of tensions over Kashmir, the Pakistani mission here Friday reaffirmed their faith in peace and readiness to sit for a dialogue for a negotiated settlement of the dispute.

"Pakistan welcomes calls from the international community for restraint and peaceful resolution of all issues with India," Pakistan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Iqbal Ahmad Khan said.
A news release from the Pak mission said the envoy in a meetingwith Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Shamser Mobin Chowdhury here communicated his country's standpoint on the conflict.
He said Pakistan shared Bangladesh's serious concern over the Indo-Pak standoff.
"Pakistan is opposed to terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and has reiterated its determination not to allow its territory to be used for terrorist activity," the Pakistani envoy told the foreign secretary.
The Pak High Commissioner underscored the urgency of de-escalation and dialogue to defuse the grave situation.
He reiterated Pakistan's readiness to sit across the table withIndia to discuss the Jammu and Kashmir dispute and all other outstanding issues between the two countries.
