The Defense Ministry Friday termed as "speculative" media report that India had decided to give two months to Pakistan to roll back cross-border terrorism ahead of the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

A spokesman for the Ministry said here that no such decision had been taken at the meeting of the Unified Command chaired by Prime Minster Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Srinagar, Kashmir, Thursday.

"Whatever decisions were taken at the meeting were announced bythe prime minister," the spokesman said.
