National Soccer Players Send Parting Words to Fans on Departure
Ma Mingyu as head of the China national soccer team and representative of his team members sent message to their fans at a news briefing held in Shanghai Thursday.

Titled "The World Cup We Show No Stint or Balk At", the parting message told that "The World Cup will by itself provide us with brand-new experience to learn from. We are all excited about it, a world gala, grand soccer gathering to bring us new hopes. The pressure on us is indescribable. These recent days, we stinted no effort to get us fixed up and have all preparations made to that end."

"Satisfactory performances and results are hoped at the upcoming World Cup in return for all your intimacy, your care and support. In the meantime, we also fear we should fail by ourselves for lack of experience and the fighting force to strike our opponents to bring painful frustrations to you".

"It must however be admitted that at the World Cup we are just a fledgling team, a weak force and for lack of strength and experience we possibly cannot get ourselves much far. But we will not the least give up fight irrespective of possible defeats to be met. This is to say no setback or defeat can hold us back from fight to our honor.

"Ten-strong match" strikes home that we should join in all contests with an ordinary frame of mind and show no squirm over every victory or defeat. "Ten-strong match" victory has let us know the strength of solidarity and the full meaning of workmanship. Relishing ourselves on the happiness from such a collective as our team full of workmanship we will take up all possible challenges at the World Cup under a healthy frame of mind."

The message said that "at the coming World Cup we would fight heart and soul, we would not be the least detracted by any distracting ideas about victory or defeat, neither goals or tasks set nor promises made. We will fight resolutely and not cower before any strong opponents. We will do our best to fight for every possible breakthrough in fights with our opponents".

"Under no conditions or circumstances, since matches are on, when no stop whistle is given, we will relax no fight and be sure staunchest fight be carried out. Though impossible to predicted whatever results are to be achieved, we guarantee our bounden duties and responsibilities to the nation and our fans are performed to the letter."

"We can't tell whatever results could be got, so long as we are united and fight, your support, understanding and help will always be with us in our fight at the World Cup and share unforgettable experiences and memories we are going to have."
