CPPCC Chairman Meets Leaders of Ukraine Supreme Council

Visiting Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Li Ruihuan met Wednesday in Kiev with all the four membersof the presidium of the Ukraine Supreme Council.

Visiting Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Li Ruihuan met Wednesday in Kiev with all the four members of the presidium of the Ukraine Supreme Council.

Li said that the Supreme Council, Ukraine's national legislature, has contributed a great deal to the healthy and steady development of bilateral relations with China.

China is willing to maintain and further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with, among many others, the Supreme Council for the consolidation and development of the traditional friendship between the two countries, Li said.

Adam Martinuk, member of presidium of the Supreme Council, saidon behalf of the presidium that all the political parties in the legislature, though with different political ideas of their own oncertain matters, have always been unanimous in supporting the development of relations with China.
