India Continues Firing Across LoC in Kashir: Press Release

Indian Army continued indiscriminate and totally unprovoked firing and shelling across the Line of Control and working boundary in Kashir on Monday, according to a press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations.

Indian Army continued indiscriminate and totally unprovoked firing and shelling across the Line of Control and working boundary in Kashir on Monday, according to a press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations.

Three innocent civilians were killed while 17 others injured at different places in the Pakistan-administered side in Kashir due to the firing and shelling, the press release said.

The Indian army resorted to shelling and firing with medium and field artillery, mortars, recoilless rifles and other direct firing weapons causing destruction of property owned by civilians, it said.

"Pakistan army promptly retaliated and targeted the hostile Indian military positions causing considerable damage to them," the press release said.
