China has not conducted any negotiation so far with Japan on how to deal with the unidentified intruders to the Japanese consulate in Shenyang, a spokesman for the Chinese Embassy in Japan said on Thursday.
China has not conducted any negotiation so far with Japan on how to deal with the unidentified intruders to the Japanese consulate in Shenyang, a spokesman for the Chinese Embassy in Japan said on Thursday.
Spokesman Huang Xingyuan, counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Japan, made the statement at an urgent press conference in the embassy Thursday evening.
Huang's remarks were made in response to reports by some Japanese newspapers, which alleged that China and Japan have reached an agreement on the matter.
China and Japan haven't held any discussion on how to deal with the intruders, the spokesman stressed.
Out of security concerns, Chinese armed police officers took away the intruders from the consulate compound with the consent from the Japanese side on May 8.
