Milutinovic to Name 23-Man Squad After Eindhoven Game

China's head coach Bora Milutinovic will announce the 23-man squad for the South Korea-Japan World Cup finals. The Yugoslavian coach had named a provisional 25-man squad one month ago.

China's head coach Bora Milutinovic will announce the 23-man squad for the South Korea-Japan World Cup finals.

Milutinovic said on Thursday the final roster will be decided after Sunday's friendly game with Dutch first division club Eindhoven.

The Yugoslavian coach had named a provisional 25-man squad one month ago.

Chinese team sources said one of the two players facing axe is striker Zhang Yuning.

China has been drawn in Group C along with Brazil, Turkey and Costa Rica for the tournament, which starts on May 31.

25-man Squad:

Goalkeepers: Jiang Jin, Ou Chuliang, An Qi

Defenders: Xu Yunlong, Yang Pu, Fan Zhiyi, Du Wei, Zhang Enhua, Wu Chengying, Li Weifeng, Sun Jihai

Midfielders: Shao Jiayi, Yu Genwei, Li Tie, Zhao Junzhe, Qi Hong, Li Xiaopeng, Gao Yao, Li Ming, Qu Bo, Ma Mingyu

Forwards: Zhang Yuning, Su Maozhen, Hao Haidong, Yang Chen
