Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon on Sunday proposed delaying by another 24 hours Israeli decision on whether to allow a U.N. fact-finding mission to visit the Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank, Israel Radio reported.

Sharon put forward his proposal at the weekly cabinet meeting, where Israeli ministers are due to discuss the level of cooperation they will give to the U.N. Jenin probe, said the radio.

Sharon was quoted as saying that Israel was not yet satisfied with U.N. answers to its questions about the terms of the mission, which is waiting in Geneva for Israel's green light to visit.

However, so far no cabinet decision in this regard has been made yet, according to an Israeli government source.
