Hu: China's Development Provide More Business Opportunities
Visiting Chinese Vice President Hu Jintao said in Singapore Friday that China's development is beneficial not only to the Chinese people but also to the peace and development in the region and the world as a whole.

At a meeting with Singaporean President S.R. Nathan Friday afternoon, Hu said that China's development will provide more business opportunities for other countries and that China will remain a driving force for maintaining peace.
On his ongoing visit to Singapore, Hu described his talks with Singaporean Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong as fruitful.
Both sides are of the view that China and Singapore enjoy good relationship featuring frequent contacts, good working relations and personal friendship between their leaders. Fruitful exchanges and cooperation in various areas, good cooperation and consultations on international and regional affairs have brought concrete benefits to both sides.
Hu also holds that China and Singapore should strengthen their cooperation, learn from each other so as to achieve common prosperity.
Nathan spoke highly of China's contribution to Asia's development and emphasized that East Asian countries should seize opportunities and join hands in facing challenges from economic globalization.
Nathan said that Singapore and China should expand cooperation in various areas and make special efforts to boost exchanges between their younger generations.
