Chinese Premier Continues Visit in Egypt

Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji arrived in Sharm el Sheikh Monday to continue his official visit in Egypt. Egypt is the second leg of Zhu's three-nation tour, which will also take him to Kenya. Before Egypt, Zhu visited Turkey.

Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji arrived in Sharm el Sheikh Monday to continue his official visit in Egypt.

Zhu flew in from Cairo, where he held meetings with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Prime Minister Atef Obeid and other Egyptian officials on bilateral ties and international and regional issues of common concern. He also met with Amr Moussa, secretary- general of the Arab League.

Egypt is the second leg of Zhu's three-nation tour, which will also take him to Kenya. Before Egypt, Zhu visited Turkey.
