China's Luneng Club to Compete in Nike U-14 World Cup Finals
Shandong Luneng edged out Guangzhou Mingfeng with an 1-0 win to win China's National Under- 14 Super Cup soccer tournament here on Sunday, booking a berth in the U-14 World Cup finals in Portugal this July.

The goal came unexpected when Shangdong player Cui Peng's cross ten minutes into the second half span into the goal, leaving the goalkeeper dumbfounded on the goal line.
Shandong Luneng will thus represent China in the U-14 World Cup finals slated for Lisbon, Portugal in July.
Beijing Guo'an finished ninth in last year's finals in Berlin, Germany.
Co-sponsored by the China Football Association and Nike, the two-phased Super Cup attracted 40 teams from the country's first division clubs and local football associations nationwide. Shandong Luneng, Guangzhou Mingfeng, Guangdong Hongyuan and Shenzhen Ping'an entered the final round after the first phase competition.
