Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji Arrives in Cairo

Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji arrived in Cairo April 19 at the start of a five-day official visit to Egypt.

Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji arrived Cairo April 19 at the start of a five-day official visit to Egypt.

During his stay here, Zhu will exchange views on bilateral relations and major international and regional issues of common concern with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, Prime Minister Atef Obeid and other Egyptian officials.

Zhu flew in from Istanbul, at the end of a five-day official visit in Turkey.

Egypt is the second leg of Zhu's three-nation tour, which will also take him to Kenya.
