Lebanese Prime Minister to Visit China

Prime Minister Rafik Hariri of the Republic of Lebanon will pay an official visit to China from April 27 to 30, at the invitation of Premier Zhu Rongji of the State Council, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue announced Friday.

Prime Minister Rafik Hariri of the Republic of Lebanon will pay an official visit to China from April 27 to 30, at the invitation of Premier Zhu Rongji of the State Council, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Zhang Qiyue announced Friday.

During the visit, Prime Minister Hariri will explore ways to further develop the friendly relations and cooperation between China and Lebanon with Premier Zhu Rongji and other Chinese leaders. And the two sides will also exchange views on international and regional issues of common interest, said Zhang.
