South Korea's World Cup organizing committee said on Tuesday that 265,717 or about 20 percent of the total World Cup soccer finals tickets remain unsold in their 10 venue cities.
Of the total tickets left, 6,081 are for three group matches involving China. The organizing committee has been trying to persuade Koreans to give up their tickets to Chinese fans who are desperate to see their side's first appearance in the finals.
