In a bid to help Taiwan-made bicycles gain a larger slice of the global market, trade organizations in Taipei have worked out an integrated global marketing program to explore business opportunities for the island's bike industry, Taiwan media reported on Sunday.
The trade-promotion organizations have integrated over 100 Taiwan bicycle makers and will help them take part in the world's three largest international shows, Euro Bike, IFMA of Gologne in Germany and the Tokyo fair.
Trade officials were quoted as saying that they have begun cooperative talks with organizers and will try to win the best exhibition space at these fairs for all participating Taiwan firms.
